Plant, Bake & Treasure Sale May 7th at the Rock Springs Public Library

We are having our annual plant and bake sale just in time for Mother’s Day!  Our sale will be held on Saturday, May 7th.  Sales will start at 9am and end at 1pm at the Community Garden located across from the Rock Springs Public Library, 101 First Street, Rock Springs, WI.

We are sure to have something for everyone! We will be offering local, organic seedlings from local grower Lise Conway. Her specialty is tomato plants and they are awesome.  She brings a large variety of heirlooms. We will also perennials available for purchase.  We encourage to you bring a perennial from your garden to donate or swap for another perennial.  Simply dig up your bulbs, hostas, or any perennial and bring it down (dirt, roots and all!) in a plastic bag.  We are happy to help you unload the plants and they can be dropped off the morning of the sale.

But it doesn’t stop there… An assortment of baked goods will be available. Bring these delicious, handmade treats to Mother’s Day brunch or treat yourself to a delightful snack.

If you’re looking for a unique gift for Mom or just like to thrift, come and check out our Treasure Table.  (Think mini-flea market!) The treasures are all donations and range from homemade teas and canned goods to reclaimed art and decorations to books and movies.  There is sure to be something for everyone.

If you have any questions about the sale, please contact Haley at the Rock Springs Library at 608-522-5050.  Donations are being accepted now and will be accepted through the sale if there are any perennials, treasures or baked goods you would like to bring from home.  All proceeds will go to the Summer Library Program which promotes youth reading through summer months.

We hope to see you there!
