Starting Monday, November 16 the Rock Springs Public Library is returning to Curbside pick-up only.
When possible, our ability to provide access to library materials is a fundamental service. Curbside pickup enables the us to meet this need for our community in a safe way. In our effort to protect the health of both our staff and patrons, curbside pickup will be offered with the following guidelines.
Curbside Pick-up Guidelines & Process
- Items can be placed on hold a few different ways - Online at linkcat.info, Emailing with items or subjects, filling out a Grab Bag Request form or by calling us 608-415-2282. Remember to have your library card available.
- If you place the order by phone, you can schedule a pick-up time at that time. Otherwise, we will call you to set up a time when we receive your request. Staff must confirm your pickup time with you for your materials to be available. Pick-up times will be available during our regular open hours - Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays 2-6 pm and Wednesdays 10am-2pm. Pick-up times will be scheduled in 15 minute windows to ensure social distancing requirements are met. Items will be checked out to your card before you arrive for pick-up.
- At the time of pick-up, we will place your items in a plastic bag labeled with your name on a table by the main entrance.
Returns and the Book Drop
The book drop is open. Returned items will be quarantined for 3 days before being checked in, so you will still see them on your account for a few days. Fines have been temporarily suspended for all items checked out at the Rock Springs Library.
