What Is Wi-Fi?

This free service at the

Rock Springs Public Library

allows you to bring in

your laptop computer

with wireless card and

surf the web using our

high-speed Internet

connection.

All public work stations have hi-speed internet, access to a printer (both black-and-white, and color), CD and/or DVD burners, and MicroSoft Office software.

The library offers DISC repair and cleaning services as time permits. We can clean and/or repair scratched Music CDs, CD-ROMs, Sony PlayStation, PSone and PlayStation 2 game discs, Microsoft X-box game discs, DVD Movies, double-sided DVD, VCD, CDR, DVDR, XBX360, HD DVD, PSX 3, Blu-ray, and future Compact Disc based products. Each service is $1 per disk(double-sided discs are $1 per side).

The library uses a JFJ Easy Pro machine, and follows the directions that came with the machine. We do not assume responsibility if the DISC does not operate after being serviced by library staff. Not all discs can be repaired.

SCANNING:

We have a flatbed scanner available for public use.

COPYING

We have both color copying and black and white copying available. Color is 25¢ per page, B&W is 20¢ per page.

FAXING

Faxing is $2 for the first page, and $1 for each additional page to send. To receive a fax is $1 for the first 5 pages, and 25¢ per page after.
