The Rock Springs Public Library depends on funds generated by local fundraisers. We are starting our final fundraiser of 2015 which will be a raffle.
Tickets are $10 apiece and each ticket offers 30 chances to win over $1,500 worth of prizes! Tickets will be available for purchase from now until October 31st. There will be a daily winner drawn each day in the month of November and all 30 prizes will be distributed just in time for the holidays. Prizes include gift cards to businesses and restaurants, oil changes, tickets to local attractions, cash prizes, signed 2014 Packer’s football and more!
All prizes were donated by local businesses and organizations, meaning every raffle ticket purchase goes directly to support the Rock Springs Public Library programs and service. With ticket sales capped at 1,000, the annual fundraiser has potential to raise $10,000 for the library which would keep us open for the rest of 2015 and part of 2016.
We are hoping the community will take advantage of the opportunity to win amazing prizes generously donated by local businesses, while also supporting the library. The library serves over 900 people annually and offers over 75 programs to youth and adults. Programs and services include educational programming, life skill development, and social outings along with our library services.
Winners of the raffle will be announced every Monday in the month of November at the library, on our website www.rockspringslibrary.com and our Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Rock Springs Public Library, 101 First Street, Rock Springs, WI during regular hours. (Monday – Thursday from 2pm – 7pm and every other Saturday from 9am – 12 pm) You can also purchase tickets at the Coach House and Flood Zone in Rock Springs, Touchdown Tavern, WCCU and Reedsburg National Bank in Reedsburg or The Barn Restaurant in Baraboo.
